This is a one page reading passage about how a Mexican-American girl spends her day on Cinco de mayo with her family. Students will read the passage, and answer comprehension questions in Spanish, translate vocabulary words to English and also color a cultural item. 
 
Great for Spanish 2-3, as a sub plan or for a one day reading activity. 
 
I recommend trying out one of the following: 
having students highlight where they found their answers in the passage
highlight new words they learned in the passage
Reading the passage out loud to a partner and working together to find the answers.
